" Bittersweet Moment "


Hmmpphhff...I'm at the lowest degree of self motivation to post anything here. Some problem still in the way during the moving to new server.

Last week I've managed to finish the Gallery section the whole day, but when uploaded the files, the link's still missing though the subdomain is already set up...still waiting for Singcat get this fixed.

But during the moment, I'm basking myself into some particular thing, like:

1. Still in high motivation uploading my photos in daily basis at Fotografer.net, while waiting the
Gallery link is up. Check it up, it's good combination of bunch of great shots, learning, encouragement, expert, and useful site. Good for your own portfolio too! ;)

2. Trying to have Nurcholish Madjid or Cak Nur's statement, not for his latest movement in political to be President in the next 2004 election, but for M. Natsir episode that will be running on Aug 3rd. He once acknowledged as Young Natsir, for his vision in Nation Building, within Islamic understanding.

I've arranged the interview twice, but couldn't manage for his tight schedule. So I have to wait for the next Tue or Wed, after his arriving from Central Java. He's very much concerning to give his opinion about Natsir, and refused when I shorten the length of interview for just 5-10 minutes for the sake of my own deadline. So, wish me luck!

Actually, two weeks ago, I was involved in another program especially for Ramadhan Show that will be running in Metro TV (once again, I DON'T work for Metro), hosted by Cak Nur. We spent 4 days in Mulia Hotel, Senayan, shooting for 40 episodes, that actually will be run for just 2 minutes before the fasting break. The pictures will be posted here soon.

3. I'm currently preparing myself to go to Mecca for Hajj and Umrah next Jan 2004 with my parents. So, more focusing to spirituality and most of it, mentality.

Well...like usually happens in the world of contradiction, if there's a good news, so there must be a bad news...and it's happening since yesterday...

I'm standing STILL


The moving to new host is STILL doing fine. Just the guestbook page STILL messed up and I STILL figuring out how to fix it. Actually, figuring out WHERE exactly the problem is. And I STILL got no clue until now...hhmmmffhh...Thomaaaaazzz!!! SOS!!!

Question: Why on earth I put all the word STILL in CAPITAL???
Answer : That's because I'm STILL %$*@&%# messed up and got nothing to do!!

I'm about to move my hosting from MWN to Singcat. Nothing's wrong though. Just I need some more spaces with some more affordable price, well, obviously affordable to my pocket! :) I hope it won't take time too long.

Sapardi Djoko Damono

Dua hari ini intens ketemu Prof. Dr. Sapardi Djoko Damono yang seorang Sastrawan juga mantan Dekan Fak Sastra UI, yang profilnya akan diangkat untuk tgl 6 Juli. Berinteraksi dengan puisi-puisinya yang sangat sederhana memainkan kata-kata, tetapi justru maknanya jadi begitu membumi.

Rabu tgl. 25 malam, stockshot acara "Musikalisasi Puisi Sapardi Djoko Damono" di Warung Apresiasi Bulungan. It was soo great! Keren banget! Puisinya jadi hidup setelah dijalin dengan suara gitar akustik dan suara penyanyinya, Reda, Nana, dan Ari. Puisi-puisi seperti; Hujan Bulan Juni, Aku Ingin, Akulah Si Telaga, Kartu Pos Bergambar Jembatan Golden Gate SF, Pada Suatu Hari Nanti, Ketika Kau, dan banyak yang lain, digubah menjadi lagu-lagu yang menghanyutkan perasaan. Setidaknya terdengar begitu buat gue, yang sebelumnya tidak tahu sama sekali puisi-puisi si Bapak. Acara di Bulungan dilanjutkan lagi besoknya di Kampus UI Depok dan di rumahnya di Ciputat.

Ternyata efek kata-kata puitis Pak Sapardi terasa seperti mantra sihir buat gue. Karena ternyata, baru gue sadari, gue banyak menulis tentang hal-hal sederhana seperti yang di tulis si Bapak. Dan selama ini gue berfikir, kata-kata sederhana tidak bisa menjadi kata-kata yang besar pengaruhnya, setidaknya jika dibandingkan dengan penyair-penyair besar macam Rendra, Taufik Ismail, atau siapapun. Hal itu yang membuat gue ngga pede mempublikasikan larik-larik puisi yang gue buat. Tetapi ternyata, kesederhanaan itulah yang membuat nama Pak Sapardi menjadi besar. Dan kesederhanaan itu juga yang membuat kepercayaan diri gue timbul lagi. Ternyata tidak ada yang salah untuk menjadi sederhana.
