Alwannah's Site

Does anybody here know Arabic? I found my drawing (of myself) has been put in an Arab website, Alwanah, and I don't understand any word at all. I assume the person didn't mean to steal, as I found some visitors have followed mermaidslife's link after read his/her post. Here's the link:

And this is where it's taken from (old one, still under-construction):

a child at angkot

This was taken at a public transportation, we called it Mikrolet, on my way to office yesterday. It was her face that really captured my wandering mind at that time.

I also publish this pic with the other photographs at Fotografer.net, web portal for Indonesian Photographer. You can see some of my work here, though you'll only see the thumbnails until you're registered. I'm quite lazy to put it in mermaidslife's gallery, as I have to make a new page for a new photograph. I'm currenly not having my programming mind (actually i don't have it!), so, fotografer.net seems a better place until I make a better layout. Until later!

sundanese

This is great. I'm gonna interview this guy, Nano S. and the other, the late Moch. Apin, a former artist in Indonesian Painting.

Go to Bandung on Monday and will stay for a week. Hmm...i love Bandung very much, except the traffic jam, remind me the story of Paris van Java. A romantic city and a lovely culture. I love the language, the music, the tradition. At least compare to Javanese that I think has many 'faces'. As Javanese, once I wished that I was born as a sundanese, and was thinking to wear sundanese dress if I got married (though the groom doesn't have to be sundanese as well!). But then, Javanese or Sundanese, doesn't matter anymore, I'm not going to have any tradition in my wedding day anyway, just simple and clean (tableless like in CSS term :D). Btw, I'm not planning to get married yet, at least in the mean time, so nothing's new in my personal life ;)

Blah..blah...never mind. As always, neighbour's grass is always seen more green than what you have.

Here's what's been going on lately...coffee table 'til drop.

My dearest friends, a high school friends, Rindah and Zee just come over to Indo. Rindah's been here for a week for her family 'gathering' and will be back soon to US on Thursday. She's originally Javanese, but now she's a US citizen. Lives and works in SF, as System Analist at some bank. Cool isn't it?

And Zee, now pursue his Master degree in Architecture at Toronto University, Canada. He'll be leaving on June, has 1.5 years of study remain. Surprisingly, an architec firm in Manhattan has interviewed him, so he's looking forward to see some other opportunity. Same cool, isn't it?

Suppose to be five of us, with Rani's left behind. She's in Bandung for a while, working on her project in delivery services. Hope to meet you all guys tomorrow night, as this would be the last day with Ririn before she leaves the next day.

Monday night; Bakoel Koffie, Kemang
Me, Rindah, Ange, Zee, and Budi (Ange's bf).

Tuesday night; Coffee Regal, Citos

Today, this afternoon; Biotechnology Building, LIPI, Cibinong, Bogor, to interview a scientist about Ines Atmosukarto, a Biology Molecular scientist. Totally lame brain...too much coffee will kill you, huh?
